“Whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.” – Martin Luther King

From an idea, to a plan and now to an initiative in action, The Little Sister Project has progressed through the hard work of Wonderwoman Nigeria’s team and the magnanimity of the donors who have shown the true spirit of community. We have progressed!

In January, WWN made her first call for donations for The little sister project (N1000 per month/girl) in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annual instalments. Donations received so far have enabled the progress of TLSP this far.

The Little sister Project aimed at providing menstrual hygiene products in the rural communities and IDP camps where these products are still luxury items for some community members, rolled out on its first community outreach in Kajuru LGA, Kaduna state.

On Saturday 20/02/2021, WWN led her team to Kasuwan Magani where a total of Twenty (20) young women were enrolled into the program which provides dignity packs (sanitary towels, soap and deodorant) for each of them each month for one year.

The visit brought smiles to the community and joy to our hearts. The first step towards ending period poverty has been taken, but there is still much more to do. We are confident however, in the quality of our community (local, national and global) and we know that with our collective efforts, our dream to end period poverty in Nigeria will be achieved.
