New Year’s Greetings From Our Vice President Anne Dirkling

New Year’s Greetings From Our Vice President Anne Dirkling

Looking back at the past year we have welcomed so much growth, change and positivity. We thank you all for your consistent support in 2022. You helped us advocating for good menstrual hygiene management, women empowerment, waste collection and recycling, and community engagement.

This year, we want to expand our Little Sister Project to new schools and communities. It is sacrosanct for us to help break the silence and build awareness about the fundamental role that good menstrual hygiene management (MHM) can mean in young girls lives.

We see way too many girls still dropping out of school due to inefficient sanitation in schools, social stigma and abject poverty. In the current economic climate, an increasing number of parents cannot provide a pack of sanitary pads to their daughters.

Please do not forget our ongoing Plastics for Pads project. We depend on your plastic bottles and cans to be dropped off in our plastic collector mounted at Space 2000, Barnawa, Kaduna.

We are ever committed to keep providing logistical assistance, promoting sustainable alternatives to the non-biodegradable pads available and strengthening our advocacy for equal access to education, so that every girl can reach her full potential.

We are all wonder women. Happy new year to you and yours!
